Affordable 3D for the Home!
-
Hi Guys,
I have been keeping an eye on the Nvidia 3D System and now see that Samsung have brought out a reasonably affordable monitor, the Samsung 2233RZ monitor looks to be job the job for viewing in 3D. Hopefully we will be able to view SketchUp Video Tours in emersive 3D soon. It seems that the image comes OUT and GOES BACK with layers. I would really have to see this to fully appreciate the product / system.
There is an offer for the kit, Nvidia Gforce 3D system $598 and the GeForce 3D Vision Kit (alone) is priced at Β£199 http://www.nvidia.com/object/GeForce_3D_Vision_Main.html
A powerful Nvidia GC needed is needed and I must check this out. Any advise appreciated!
2D and 3D widescreen LCD monitor
'Experience ultra-realistic 3D with the SAMSUNG 2233RZ 22β 2D and 3D ready LCD widescreen display. With a pair of NVIDA GeForce 3D Vision glasses, a compatible NVDIA graphics card and Windows Vista, you can transform hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. The SAMSUNG 2233RZ renders more realistic experience than conventional displays by using a 120 Hz signal, rather than the 60 Hz images that conventional 2D displays use, a lightning-fast 3 ms response time GTG in 3D mode that eliminates trailing, and 20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio that provide realistic detail. The SAMSUNG 2233RZ 22β 2D and 3D-ready LCD widescreen display.'
All in all a nice Christmas Present ..... must write to Santa early
Mike
PS: Could like make me go blind? Also could I fit the Nvidia glasses over my prescription spec .... questions, questions!
