This is work of my first year students at Uni. The subject was Visual Studies. The task was to record old Norman church using photographs and sketches and than building a SU model and rendering it in Podium. Part of the exercise was to work as a team. Each group was 3 or 4 students and they were supposed to make separate parts in SU and than put them together in one model for texturing and rendering. This model and render are done by Craig, Wendy and Philip. As they are now in their exam season and pretty shy I decided to post one render on their behalf. It goes without saying that I was very pleased with their result.

Thanks but... Render and model are done by my students...I just did pp. The church is now not used anymore as church but cultural venue. Postcard... that it is not bad idea. Need to explore it.
The interesting bit is that students did not have any data to start with but used photos and, sketches and pacing to determine the form. It is pretty accurate.

Beautiful. Your students should be proud of their work.

Thanks Daniel...Yes they should be. They came long way taking in account that none of them have ever touched SU or Podium before. My first year students are now better at modelling than third year.
