The composition divided into thirds, the unreal pavement and the black windows create a somewhat static presentation. I would shoot some existing streets to pick up some of the imperfections of the real world. Not to say you need to keep every piece of trash and skid mark, but just to capture the crown in the street and the effect of runoff an weathering. Also if you want to shoot straight on you might shift your image down and add some exciting clouds. Shifting down would minimize the boredom of the street and give the clouds (natural environment some more play. A little foreground framing might also help. Maybe shooting from behind a slightly blurred tree branch?

The render is good but need something to make it more dynamic.

Ok, Roger. I tried to put more spice into this render. Followed some of your
advice about the 1/3, clouds and such but couldnt do much for the glass.
I did think that first render looked somewhat better.

Reminds me of the story of the 10 blind men from India who encountered an elephant. When asked to describe it they all ahd widely different impressions. Nice elephant, but maybe over the top for foreground framing.

I'd have to agree. Elephants are more of a background element.

I sort of feel like a tiger from that perspective getting ready to pounce on the elephant before the zoo keepers are able to catch either of us.

@david, I don't think I have ever laughed because of a render before πŸ˜ƒ about the black glass - I like to use the same look. I think people over do glass in their renders which causes an unrealistically flashy effect. When I look at most buildings with similar windows to your render, the glass always appears dark and more opaque in the sunlight - if anything I would say your windows are not dark enough! I suppose it is up to debate
