I'm still hacking at this trying to work out a repeatable work-flow.
What I can say is learn to get the image to work in grey-scale values before attempting anything in colour.@unknownuser said:

What I find attractive is the ability to develop some really expressive custom brushes & pens.
- and it is cheaper than Photoshop but with a similar functional interface. Great for doing design doodles.
(But don't spend the money if you are not prepared to spend a bit of time.)

Those look great...I really like the cleanness you maintained with the water color. Sometimes water colors look a little to water colored.

i often get requests for watercolours and would be nice to know ur method as mine is convolted and not as convincing as urs -
