Dear Woodworkesr,
Has anyone used linseed oil based paints on weather-exposed wood?

It seems to be a better, and longer lasting option than solvent based paints.
I ask because I'm thinking of stripping off the existing paint on my window frames and re-painting using a linseed oil based paint.
