Color Sensor
-
I highly doubt it is possible, but i would love to see a color sensor. One that outputs a variable depending on the color. maybe it could sense the object color beneath the object?

Here is an example of what i want it to do, without the complicated mechanics behind the movement.

Hi =Physicsguy=

Color sensor's idea is very interesting. I had suggested a similar idea using a mechanical sensor (switch). The question is: how to read this sensor information and link it to drive motor, hinge.... ?
Ps: may be a full colour spectrum ( I mean RGB coding) could be used, we could see the box rotates according
a colour's law angle. Black : 0, full White :255 -> 90°.MALAISE

Color detection probably isnt going to happen. But it is possible that (in a future version) you could tag an object as "red" or whatever and then do something based on that color.
So in your example you could put a nocollison cube on the bottom. Then if it was touching the black or white squares the onTouch could do something.

MALAISEMechanical sensors are now possible if you use an object with an onTouch field.
