That is funny but if you think about it, almost all castle pictures you see have that battle worn look. Why not show one that has just received approval from the building inspector? Or the kingdom with a ruler who is a high strung OCD maintenance freak.
It is like all those vanity renderings you see with the water running. Why does the water have to be running all the time!?

Got this interesting comment on these from one of my clients this morning:
"It looks graphically good but it needs some torches, moss and lichen, and some signs of age, repairs, history, battleworn. Your castle looks like it is ready for final inspection, like it was made for a theme park…"
