How do i install soapskin and bubble?

hi i did two things, installed the soap skin zip into plugins, and also into tools. but its not working right. on the youtube site the sketchup show, the tools has all these extra features and icons. so how do i install and use this tool or plugin? im not sure if its a tool or a plugin. whats the difference?

It should only go into plugins. Tools is a directory that Google wants to keep for themselves.
Make sure that you have extracted it correctly from the zip file. If you are in windows, instead of opening the zip file with something like winzip, right click on the file and select "explore". That will open the file so you can see the directory structure more clearly. It probably should have a base .rb file and a directory or two. Copy it just like that into the plugins folder so it retains the directory structure.
I haven't installed the plugin for a long time, so I don't recall all the particulars, but it should be something like that.
