Is there any possible way to force SketchUp to move from one camera to another in a spline, and not a sequence of straight lines? I perused smustard.com but found no script that offered this function. There was one that smoothed the transition time, but none that smoothed the transition path (The "flightpath" produce a polygonal path, not a curve, so you would need to make it create one scene per animation frame to have really smooth movement... this means hundreds or thousand of frames, also rendering the "proper animation" plug-ins useless in the process). I also tried the "smooth animation" script, but it also alters only the flow of the camera in time, not space.

Now, if someone can do this, he's sure to have tons of customers ready to pay, as this would solve one of SketchUp's Achilles' heel.

Of course I already have completely smooth transitions in Kerkythea (smooth in both time and space), but I'd love to be able to do it inside SketchUp.

I think this does what your asking: http://www.smustard.com/script/SubdivideAndSmooth

        Theres a few caveats, though.

          Hi Ecuadorian.
I have suggested or requested a similar feauture several times here on the forum but no luck so far....
The interest in smooth animation in a render engine combo seems to be very small.
