This is a nice start. some comments would be the lamp is far too bright. The floor texture seems a bit out of scale as well as the bump seems too strong. The brick looks good but could use more detail, maybe even displacement since it is in the foreground but you might be able to get by with a stronger bump also.

hello allanx, I like modeling and lighting space, if it is not possible for some sun entrace through openings in the roof, would be good especially considering it is lit externally.

Do something with light in corner. I think it is still too bright. Maybe change colour.

                    Otherwise very very nice start.

                      Hi,

I like images with some grain. It reminds me some of my fotos. I think, that grainy images are sometimes a little bit more realistic that very clean render.

Good job. I like this clean and spacious style. Now, you need to add some fournitures to bring life to your living room...

                      Regards,
                      Luis Esteves

                        Hi to everyone,

Here's an update of my living room render, finally found some time to continue this with all the work in line...

@ Luis: I am not planning on putting some furniture on this one, I find it more artistic with its minimalist theme..

                                    alann,

Nice job and its coming a long way. My comments would be:

The exterior looks either too bright or a terribly blurry image,
The stack should not be a perfect chrome if chrome at all.

Other than that it is looking very nice. I too would say minimalistic is good but sometimes to easy, BUT if done right can look far better than a cluttered scene IMHO.

                                    Scott

the bricks are at least twice too big. the hearth could be raised a bit and maybe black glossy tile finish on it. everything else is excellent.
