New Project - first sketch...

Hope it's OK to post this here - as there's no SketchUp in it (yet) !
This is something I'll be working on over the coming weeks in spare moments. Wanted to produce something with a bit more modelled detail than my usual approach (normally a quick model and a lot of post-work in Photoshop). Anyhow, I was doodling in PS, and this sketch kind of 'appeared'. Seemed to have potential for an interesting SU model. I'll post updates when I get the chance to do some more work on this.

Do you know the work of Iakov Chernikhov (Tchernikhov)? I can't find his works online that this reminds me of, but you obviously tap into a similar inspiration. I have a book with many of his images of similar themes, although your graphic style here is different. Look forward to more.
