SP3 feature: Buoyancy
-
Buoyancy was unofficially supported in SP2. In SP3 it is an official features but it is still a little flaky and it is important to realize that it isn't really water.
To turn on and off the buoyancy plane use the menu option under Plugins->SketchyPhysics->Setup Buoyancy.
Settings include density which is of limited use, linear and angular viscosity and the direction and speed of the current.
Linear viscosity is how fast an object in the buoyancy volume slows down and angular is how fast is stops turning. You can create some really wild effects by entering different numbers for settings.
Issues:
-Small objects will behave strangely.
-Bigger object should be made out of smaller objects connected by joints rather than just grouping them.[flash=648,480:3gz09ydu]http://youtube.com/v/1P4KY2xbQ3s[/flash:3gz09ydu]
