oh oh nice camera... wow DE nice shots there.

Great shots DE. What does it take to do something like this? Besides the artistic ability... What programs, is some of the work composite or CG? HDR? ?
I cannot help but notice some irony on the boat. It is tied up as if it might float away though it looks incapable of floating. It looks broken and old but there's some fancy radar (?) on it.
The reflections on the water and deck are beautiful.

Thanks pbacot...
The boat is just sitting there rotting and I was also struck by the modern 'radar' on top. I am trying to find a 'visual-voice' for my photography by creating scenes that inspire the viewer to think about what is happening or has happened - not just pretty postcards.
As far as process goes I look at each photo as a separate set of challenges. For example I wanted the boat to look more like a classical painting and the car was a bit of an experiment.
Glad you like them.
cheers,

Really great pictures, everyone. Here are some of my shots. I used a cannon G2, and...Another cannon, but I can't remember which model

Here are 2 frogs I photographed. These were taken in Cambria, California on New Years Eve a few years ago. Notice the first frog has a gimpy left arm. Yes, photographing frogs was the absolute #1 thing I wanted to be doing on New Year's eve - frogs are great!
And then the lady bug was taken this last week in my backyard with a new Canon DSLR I just bought.

Which begs the question: "Why are you using PrintKey?" ...

PrintKey-Pro is a system tray-based program that captures all or any part of the picture on your monitor screen with the press of the Print Screen key...

GoldenFrog, does this hobby of photographing frogs have anything to do with your nickname?
Chris, so you're an accomplished architect, coder, painter and photographer. Wow.
Since you guys are posting animals, I have one to add. I can't remember if I already posted this Iguana. It was outside my house, in the ficus tree.
