my camera is SOny DSLR DSC-R1 one of those first versions. im planning in getting Cannon or Nikon now. but im still happy with my SOny though.
I'm curious, what reasonably priced Canon or Nikon camera would you be interested in?
I'm looking to buy a, 21 Megapixel SLR, but just because I can afford it does not mean I will.I think your Sony has one of the best hand held ergonomics of any SLR, that newer cameras don't have. I also see your using autobracketing to create those great HDR effects in your final photos.
So what are the features you see in the newer SLR's that would attract you to buy one?

digital photogrpahy and rendering are two roads that complement each other. whatever i observed in 3d (forums, renders) i look at and validate it in photography. and what i have seen in photography i want to do in 3d world. i dont know but i find pleasure between the digital darkroom and the dials of the camera. thanks sepo again. by the way i cant sleep yesterday thinking about the podium contest.

about 2,000 usd. but i might take a sony macro lens first.
actually i was dubfounded by your question. and its a good question to me either. Am i taking either NIkon ar Cannon because of my frends are eithe Nikonian of Cannonian. or because i know exactly what features they have why i am getting them? and my answer seems the first question.
thanks tomot for pointing that, coz i could reevaluate my motives again.

can I take your photos? the answer is yes please. i dont know them

A couple of shots from a walk yesterday.

i really like the composition of the first image. the curvin gtrail and the light coming in front framed by the two people i think was nicely captured.

Man, there are some great quality pictures here. Hope I can keep up with my shots
**1/60 sec at f/3.5, ISO 200 12.074 mm (6.1-30.5 mm)**
**1/250 sec at f/4.0, ISO 80 13.761 mm (6.1-30.5 mm)**
Since a couple of weeks I've got myself a Canon G10
So if pictures look bad it can only be my fault nowbtw, great post-processing Nomeradona

nice cat yu have there, but my favorite is the last one. the way you capture the landscape is very poetic.
the shadow cast in between the embankment was nicely contrasted by the moveing water. that shot is really good. -

Here a couple of photos from my People of Cuba series.

espresso. this series is indeed excellent. i hope we can see more.. the two images are very good and the pictures tell you the story (no caption needed). I especially like the way you composed the 2nd image.

Nomeradona,
Your eye for subjects is exquisite! Your technical skill is every bit as good. I'm a fan!
Here are a few from Northern California...

And I took a pic of this as I didn't have a clue what it was (It's a Hummingbird-Hawkmoth)
