What's new with the Nikon Bubba
Nothin new at the moment... been kinda busy but I hope to have a few shots in a couple of days! For my class assignment, I'm supposed to take a picture of a 'W' and a '5', '7', and '9'. There are a lot of numbers on road signs on the way home and apartment numbers around me so it should be interesting to see what I can come up with.
Nomer, where do you find the time to take all these pictures? The baby pic in your duotones set is a great shot...
PS - Can any of you recommend a good tri-pod for me to use?
i think i jsut bring my camera wherever i go...and subjects are just everywhere. i dont know a lot of things that impress me. like marcel duschamp said anything can be art. so for me anything can become your subject. you dont need to travel 500 miles or 1000 miles to have nice shot. our place were we live is the most exciting place to capture. this is the place where our friends are not here...

What is the digital darkroom technique you speak of?
-
Digital darkroom?
Be careful not to get any chemicals on your memory stick.

Beautiful shots nomeradona. Very clean.
I've been working on my digital darkroom technique.

It's the workflow process and technique I use in Photoshop and a few other software progs to fine tune a digital photo.
For example: The Havana Rooftop Pano is composed of two shots that have been stitched together, separated into different layers that are adjusted for contrast, levels etc. Then merged to output the final shot as posted. -
digital darkroom really sounds funny and amusing but indeed an acceptable term nowadays in digital photography: the machine you use in post process (computers, post processing software, your printer, all your gadgets so to speak)... funny word right?
Nowadays Adobe Photoshop offers all these techniquess in the darkroom. -
DE good lighting, wow i love that picture there.

Another HDRi try, using cool temperature

using photoshop on an hdr image

nomeradona,
Well, I definitely need to to start getting into HDRI. All I need is to upgrade to PhotoShop CS2+ and a new camera that allows me to bracket and shoot Raw/Tif. Hey, it's only $$$$ and trying to decide on the camera.Interesting how changing the temp alters the visual perception of the shot. Does the tall building in the warm image flare at the top?
Too bad others haven't decided to participate in this forum. I feel like it's just the two of us trading shots and it feels a little self indulgent. I was hoping this would catch on... guess not.
cheers,
DE
