Do you stride or saunter?
-
In my office there are two types of people the striders and those that saunter.
A strider walks down the corridor and a purposeful speed.
A saunter'er' sort of drifts down the office saying ‘hi’ to anyone that looks at them.
I personally like to get where I’m going so you could say I'm a strider those that saunter just get in the way.
(Edit: corrected - Dyslex's rlue KO)

I used to be a saunterer but recently have learned to become a strider. In the words of Koncho Shayne, 'the way you do anything is the way you do everything'.

Slow down. Striders spell more bad and don't make good sentence structure.

I'm definitely a strider. "The way you do anything is the way you do everything".....I like this saying.

I am neither. I'm an aloof and grim-looking flaneur. Former colleagues used to imitate the sound of the wind and rub themselves as if they were cold when I walked in.
Jokers.
-
I mosey, but don't meander.
-
I intend to be focused and head directly to my targeted place of destination, however with a mild case of adult ADD I tend to be heading to my....look a butterfly.
-
haha, I guess I burrow. When I'm not behind the PC, I'm in the field building my designs. I'm usually in a machine moving Earth, or behind a shovel moving Earth, or on my knees with a trowel full of mortar. I love working outside!!!

Jokers.
Flaneur: a new word for me, thanks.

Whats all this about striding or sauntering? Oh you mean walking? No I don't do that, I never leave my pc. I just slither to and from it like a slug.
-
Neither. I make two interns pick me up by my chair and carry me where ever I need to go. Isn't that what they are there for?
Seriously, it depends on where I am going, and why.
-
I now start most days with a tenable shuffle...and end too many with a frenetic back peddle.
-
I'd be happy to just be a brain in a jar connected to a laptop.
-
Depends on where im going and why: gentle walk in the countryside usually means a saunter, trying to sort something out means a stride. On the whole id say im more of a saunterer though.
-
HA! Neither. I strut.
-
I sway
-
I've cantored, I've loped, and I have even meandered
I will never sashay. . .

Why walk, saunter, or stroll - when you can roll!
I take the SketchUp-mobile as much as possible. I sit up top and my driver gets me where I need to go.

personally i like to sprint.
shame my "wide set frame" only permits a gentle swagger.
