Article 1 and 2 are from maintream news agencies such as the BBC, Times, and Guardian. Why don't you do a little search. The BBC hates the US, thats news to me. AND OMG didn't you get the WHOLE POINT of the article!??? He was saying the CURRENT ADMINISTRATION is crap! US had GREAT LEADERS which we all admire! HOW DOES THAT CONSTITUTE HATING THE US!???? Bush DOES NOT represent the US everybody knows that. Are you just reading lines to confirm what you want to hear?
Yes, I got the point of the article: Americans are stupid, fundamentalist religious idiots. Sounds quite arrogant and more than a little hate filled to me. But, what do I know, I'm just one of those uneducated Americans that you've been brainwashed to hate. Your "man" never gave a single reference for his comments. You, George, and your comrades won't be happy until America is full of atheist, global warming zealot, secular humanists, that believe the universe revolves around themselves. Elitists like George don't realize it, but they have their own religion. The religion of atheism and secular humanism.
Just because you read something from a news agency doesn't make it true (this is an example of your naivete). You haven't give ANY proof of your allegations against Bush or Cheney. You haven't given any proof that Cheney is lining anyone's pockets. You give only allegations and opinions. Allegations and opinions aren't facts. The fact is that the surge in Iraq is working. If you don't want to hear it from unbiased sources, here's a left-wing, biased source that even says it's working: http://www.usatoday.com/news/military/2008-10-30-iraqnews_N.htm.
First of all BBC isn't leftwing nor is the Times. (The Guardian adminited is, and I'll give you that) Truth is we as news readers are not really in a position to know the truth as information are already interpreted for us. I am merely conveying what I've read down here. I can't care less if you think Secular Humanism or Atheism is a religion (which are both laughable however thats another topic) because I am a Posthumanist. You've even mistaken me for being hispanic (Juan ). Clearly I am CHINESE! I thought that much is obvious from my portrait. Clearly you've formed an image of me from this particular article that doesn't vaguely resemble what I am or what I believe. I don't hate the US. I love the US (just not the current administration, whats so hard to understand?). Most people from my homeland aspire to be like the US. The Chinese Dream is not disimilar to the American Dream albit with our own characteristics. What we can't believe is that you've elected such a nitwit into office (I argue with my fellow countrymen about merit of democracy all the time and they just point out that Bush Junior is in office and I am left speechless because I don't know how to defend this kind of atrocity). You have to remember US was doing fantastically well in terms of World opinion during the Clinton administration. This isn't just a sentiment shared by most people in Europe and China it is the PREVAILING view of the US throughout the world if you just bother to ask around.

I have always lived in the USA but apparently I have been missing a couple of things all these years:
#1-I always thought the President had 1 vote that really didn't get counted anywhere but in the polls and elections.
#2-He had a veto pen, but I learned that Congress had the white-out to correct his mistakes.

Actually he has a lot more power than that my friend:

Just to reiterate what I meant by America's standing in the world under the current administration read this article from the Economist (don't tell you dismiss them as well as the BBC, in which case I might as well watch FOX all day) should be illuminating.

chango,
FYI, I don't assume an avatar associates with the person making a post. So, I wasn't making any assumption on your ethnicity. Unfortunately, I did mistakenly connect something you had posted with another.
