Rogue's W.I.P's!
-
Here is a little bit more on my Mondeo.
-
A little pic of some other stuff im doing
-
Congratulations for your models, Rogue. They are stunning considering the limited capabilities of SketchUp as a "free-form" modeler.
Do you use any plugins for your creations, or just standard tools?
Keep it up mate! -
Thanks Carrozza
I do have a few plug-ins but only use Fredo Scale in everyday modeling.
-
Some very "interesting" comments, but thanks. It really is hard, yet enjoyable creating something that has been long forgotten
-
Well, I don't use any plug-ins and life's hell working on models.

I see you working on a mysterious Falcon - here's mine. (Links instead of pictures 'cause this thread will eventually explode)
Enter "Froject Falcon":
I went for the Japanese-gangster inspired look. They like low, long things (no pun). Not sure if they like yellow though... Here's the current situation. The car's not finished, so I used shadows to hide the ugly bits. -
wouldn't some of the plugins that create surfaces from a given set of edges be of use for this kind of work?
-
Damn Shams! That Falcon mod is very nice! I personally love what you’ve done up to the Coupe stage.
Well Thomas, there is the soap skin bubble tool. I have tried that out and it seems it could be useful for forming some tricky surfaces but I don’t seem to have too much trouble as it is -
that looks very cool!
you just gotta love this!
-
Looking good so far! The photo textures fit quite well and do help give a more detailed feel.
I can’t keep on working on the attached model so I’m offloading it here. I don’t think I’ll ever come back to it so feel free to use as you please but if you do finish it then I would like some credit. I have a couple of very important projects I am working on, one for a group in Australia and one in American so I may be tied up with that for some time to come. I have streamlined my Models folders and cleaned it up a lot so I should be able to work a little faster and it will help me focus on my main projects.
I will try to keep you all posted with any development. I have a couple of models coming soon, within the next few months, so keep nagging me about them else I’ll probably slack off again.
Also, the last of the FROR models is uplaoded

Have a great 2010!

Extremely nice work, the Rogue sentient is brilliant, and it's good the FROR models are uploaded
Happy new year to you too!
-
Thanks Shreeyam
I have been doing a little work on a 2010 Super Milano. Not much changed but I'm working hard on interior!
-
Ive finished the interior trim for the boot lid
-
Oooh, nice work! Hope you make more!
-
Thanks again. Well, I'm hoping to make a new logo, very much like that of Jaguars but a Cougar instead. So far I’ve have little success, I was hoping someone would be willing to lend a hand and getting the Jag logo to look a little more like a Cougar through Photoshop or Gimp, or whatever.
I have a link to some great Cougar pic’s and the Jag logo(s) I was looking at.
Jag:

Proposal for a new front end; it is more contemporary and IMO looks a little more fitting. I may offer the original front as an optional extra
-
Ive added a grill...
-
Wow! Really, really good.
That Milano looks better now. I wasn't a fan of the previous rear end - this one looks pretty.
I can see why you let the Sentient go - it probably wasn't very exciting to work on. But you know, someone will eventually work on it (hint, hint).
Instead of doing the logo Jag-style, do it isometric. I know, I know, a lot more work but will look better. Or have it 2D, but the view is from the top. So what you see is the top of the cougar leaping as opposed to from the side.
The Cobra/Milano interior was something I always wanted to see. Yay!
+1 on the new front end.
Yeah, we'll be here for the constant nagging. Screw privacy.
Also, interesting web album of the cougars (must. resist. blue-eyed. baby. cubs.).

Thanks Shams
I don’t know about the logo. For now it’s just a bit of a bother as I’ve never been very good at making logos.
Here’s a progress update. Door basically finished, attached file.

They are pretty nice, Ben! Keep them up
