Rogue's W.I.P's!
-
Wow, the wheel looks great! But I think it can do with a smaller hubcap, because it's awesome without the hubcap.
About the Ford Mustela: Why don't you call it a "Rogue-model-inspired-by-the-Mustela"? Because it'll avoid the people from b*tching and whining when they find out that it's inaccurate (the world's filled with jealousy).
Or how about a modern-retro version of it (a la Lamborghini Miura Concept)?
Just my two-cents

Some pics of the revised Falcon XA, XB and XB GT. I will be making the XA GT and the XC models soon. Also, some pics of my new wheel. EDIT: XA GT finished

Looks great Ben!
And my zippie has already been stolen and copied 100 times by this other Spanish Speaking b-biatch
-
Good work!
And... It's just a shame someone stole your Zippie, once you let use download your models
-
Thanks. I have done heaps more updates on the models now. I have revised most of the details and added more detail around the wheels
-
Great, I've doing the same for some time now. I just found out that my McLaren F1 LM is my most popular model yet it looks like a pile of.. you know what. I'll keep updating them till, well, hell freezes over.
It's awesome what aligning the wheels and fixing/hiding a few lines can do: Modified Ford Capri

MORE WORK ON MUSTELA!!!
-
Very nice, Ben! You have done an awesome work with only one image!
-
What a great model. Working from one picture and a few references.

4 unfinished Mazda models I felt like getting rid of....
Mazda models - Unfinished.zip -
Interesting. Wish I had the guts to finish one.
That Mazda pickup seems interesting.

Here are some more shots of the Mondeo
-
Yay! Can't wait for it to be finished
-
Looks awesome! But I don't understand why you don't smooth as you go, I find it easier to be able to select panels quickly, and it gives me a better idea how the finished model will look...
-
Well, itβs because smoothing as you go is pointless. I often re-model large part of the model and that requires raw mesh. If itβs all messy and grouped it can often lead to whole groups being deleted or moved. Itβs just a lot easier to work straight from raw mesh and group thing and add finishing touches at the end
Thanks for the comments though
-
Well, you could work with the hidden geometry on, but it's best to deal with the smoothing later.
Speaking of hidden geometry, does any of you use shortcuts for the important tools/views? I rigged up a couple of them and I seem to work faster now. Just a thought.
-
Yeah. My V is for edges on/off my B is for hidden geometry and my N is for profiles.
-
Yeah, I have set-up one or two. I donβt often bother but I may end up adding a few more.
Now that you mention it -
