Amazing work...
I just thought about violation and all. I think you didn't claim credit for the model. It's a feature in SU7. I think the contributors can delete the model if they want to, say, in case someone reuploaded it for no reason. So you might want to reupload...
Oh yeah, in case you guys don't know how crazy Rogue is, let me remind you:
If I were you, I would make a circle, pull it out, smooth it and call it a day. -
I Belive You Mean "Extreme Uneeded Detail"
-
tiiiiiiiiiiight

Ha, thanks for the comments. I try to add a realistic amount of detail where possible.

As I said above, just the right amount of detail.
I did actually, sort-of, skip out on a few poly's making the last few parts but that doesn’t really show in the mesh -
Here is the GT70 aswell.

That hood vent is awesome! Is it me or does the GT70's rear look wide? If so, then it must be the rear tires.
By the way, I've been working on the Artega and I managed to reduce the size to 4.05 MB(3.05 MB without the tires).

Here are some renders of the GT70

That person would have to be one of the best 3D modelers or would need blueprints or very good reference images of the car. For now it isn’t possible to create an accurate model of it.
-
Okay, now for some good news for all who want to check out some of my images and renders.
There are now two options:
My website: http://rogueautomotivedesign.webs.com
Picasa: http://picasaweb.google.com/RogueAutomotiveDesignFeel free to comment and download the images
-
I'll stick to the website. It's much more friendlier than Picasa's layout IMO.
I've been working on the Artega and made a render too. The design is incomplete but I thought I'd upload a teaser...
This one is going to be different since I'm trying to keep the visual aspect of the car as real as possible. So yeah, no fancy widebody stuff... -
That looks really, really interesting. I can’t tell much so far, as there really isn’t much to see, but it looks good.
That image reminds me of how the Topgear team criticised Porsche on their cayenne photos
BTW, Rogue Maverick GT just uploaded to the 3Dwarehouse

Here is another model I'm working on. I just started it a little while ago.
I really can’t find any good reference images for this model of the Mondeo if anyone knows where to find any that would be great. I am also going to model the Hatchback version and the British Touring Car Championship yellow and bleu one (I can hardly find any images of that either)
-
Rogue, Have you decided to use my renders?
