      Hi all
Here where I live, Porto Alegre - the southern region of Brazil is a place that is very cold in winter average temperature this season ranges from 5 to 12 degrees. If you use very windows and doors of solid wood. This is a type of Maximar, composed of several pieces as you see in the drawings. In the outside two frames with glass, and the hinge is particular to this case. In the other two with internal screen, to open with vertical axis.

For us in Quebec "5 to 10 degrees" isn't very cold in winter. The average temperature in winter in Quebec is near minus 15. (the record temperature was minus 36,1 degrees in january 1962) 😞

In Quebec, we must put some fur on your window in winter. 🤣

PS: My son was at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in Porto Alegre last may and june to learn portugese. He really like your city and the people of Brazil.

Solo - Thank you for your comment.
Daniel - Indeed with these temperatures of Quebec, our are not as cold. It would be 5 degrees your summer?. Her son liked the experience? If you need something contact me.
            Cheers.
