Is their an individual in you? doubt it.

What, you were being ironic all of the sudden? And you decided to do that just when I ran out of coffee? Bad call, Stu!
Oh well.

My 2 cents: he gets one more chance. One. If he crosses the line again, show him the door.

You know it's all fun and games until somebody gets hurt. . . .
-
Funny part is: he was so totally off the mark with me that that almost ticked me off...I'll give him credit for some understanding of human nature (and now guard mine all the more :`)

“Human nature”!?!
“I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
For I delight in the law of God after the inward man,
But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind...

Jackson,
What DOES SOMEONE HAVE TO DO before you accept an apology at face
value and move on in peace? I really now think you actually ENJOY
all this agro and would like nothing better than to see G o D come
back into this thread firing both six-shooters! If he does and was
aiming at YOU I would NOT be in the slightest bit surprised. Quite
frankly I think you would deserve it. I would go as far to suggest
that I think you now owe an apology to G o D and this forum! The man has said sorry! That is GOOD ENOUGH for me and others.
I believe him as I believe people can change. However Jackson I'm
having doubts in your case!Just let it go and move on. That also goes for the other doubters
that have jumped in with their tuppence worth which looks to me to
be a last ditch stand to try and stir things up again.Mike

Whaaat?
J1mmy and Cornel in the Corner bar???
Whaaat?
I knew that was J1mmy as soon as I saw the first post. I haven't been around for a while, but it's really nice to see Jackson, Tom, Lewis, Ross and a couple others. I remember tangling with jim a few times, and sending him off crying, I don't suspect the aftermath could be that great with Jim hanging around, but what are ya gonna do?
Nice to "see" all 'yall again..perhaps I'll be around.?

Alternatively you can ignore it [him] and it [he] might go away...
You don't have to fan the fire unless you really want to...

Cornel, I am not familiar enough with your cryptic style of english at the moment, and can't remember how to decode your messages.. what does this mean?
Is this an allusion to shaking of the earth of biblical proportions? (like Rev. 11:13 and 16:18?)
Does this mean that I should look out for a major shake up on the forums and the fallout that will come?
you have got to be more plain man, diction is your friend.Anyways - good to be back, I see that not too much has changed!
-
It probably means Star Trek which is a code for.."be prepared to have this thread beamed into space"

S.T.,
I just saw your doublet “Whaaat?”…,
and I was marked by trembling, quivering, or shaking!
...Hard to say, I’m ‘timid’)Cornel

Double, Triple Whaaat? Star Trek.. trembling.. okay - interesting start to the end of my extended vacation from SCF

There is a moment where conscious time freezes and elongates at once, pulling you headlong into the deepest reaches of your spirit and your brightest moment of clarity. Precisely before this, your body struggles to transcend natural forces, the pressure in your head swelling till you can no longer hear the howling wind or the wail of carbon brakes biting into fiery iron rotors, as the iphone sized contact patch promises to be true to your request to scrub off 100+ mph while hurdling past the point of no return. With the front suspension near bottom, the screaming front tire buries itself into the unseen microcosms beneath the seemingly smooth pavement, you play both sides of the blade as you ask the machine to transition from 100% braking to 100% cornering without losing 1% to either. The suspension never releases as the braking force, pulling you forward like magnetically controlled finish to a roller coaster ride, lends your weight to the forces of inertia, the baton passed on the brink of disaster. This is where the surreal becomes your den; the bubble-gum sticky tires start to tear away and catch again in a deceptively quick cyclic drama that has you aiming farther to the inside of the apex and praying that this contradiction will carry you wide towards your intended mark. Just then you begin to feel it....the machine is fully loaded and fully leaned...the micro-cyclic tear and catch that your sticky hot slicks are playing out becomes a symphony of visceral feedback and the machine, stiffly sprung and tightly wound, begins to sing to you in the same way a tuning fork will vibrate simply a pure tone that has your senses shutting out all other input in hopes of procuring this one magic song. Experiencing this moment is part of what racing's all about, the machine literally singing to you as you then slingshot out of the corner like David's rock towards the Goliath that is the next straight-away and your competition.
Despite the times where this goes all wrong and you're thrown mercilessly down the track, left injured and doubting your strength and your skills, you come back to experience this moment of clarity and in some way allow it to define you....risking much for an experience most will never attain.
The psychology behind that is much like this thread and how you've orchestrated a brazen challenge, callously berated those unaware of the tactics and then dangled the reward of acceptance or even reverence to those who play the game. I've watched this, warnings to others aside, and have found it to be an interesting foray into the psychology of online group relationships.
It takes all kinds to make a community, so it is what it is and we either adapt and learn, or pack up our toys and go home. I was never a pack up and go home kinda guy.
Cheers,

Dude............awesome description - I feel like I was right in that corner with you! Just like Durante's ramblings sometimes do - that paragraph just took me to a different place........away from this thread. Thank You!!!

S.T.,
We are in an intense apostasy time, but, just in a second, The Earth can jump into a Revelation period. There are all conditions ready to be fulfilled for all remaining (several) prophesies.
Nowadays, subsist other kind of “shakings”, (not yet “of the earth of biblical proportions like Rev. 11:13…”): psychological…There are 3 ways for apostates, processed in Jude, entire chapter/book (in symbolic appearance) :
-the way of Cain;
-the error of Balaam;
-the gainsaying of CoreOne of comun elements that characterize them is to be derisive, disdainful, cynical, to dishonour…:
“…they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. (Jude 1:18)We can identify them, because they are metaphoric illustrated:
“…clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars…”
(Jude 1:12-13), etc. (I can explain all of them, but not in this tread)Now, seeing a human signature like “GoD”, for us is crystal-clear: A MOCKER.
“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” (Galatians 6:7)

Opponent attacks... retreat... feign surrender...... draw your opponents forward, their weapons holstered, hands outstretched........ while you regroup and attack. I'll give you credit where it's due Jimmy- the first two maneuvers were extremely well executed, I keenly await the inevitable conclusion of this classic tactic.
Before anyone else walks with Mike towards Jimmy with olive branch outstretched, he has stated many times that he likens himself to a boxer, that to him discussion and combat are one-and-the-same, his role is Antagonist Supreme and that in his 40-something years he still gets the same kick for riling folks (or "ruining somebody's night" in his own words) as he did in his youth. I'll admit I fell for it way-back-when, he's a master sledger (cricket term, a gentlemen's sport except when it comes to words), knows which buttons to push and then sits back and watches the show while preparing the next attack. God knows, many of us SCF members know so much about each other we could publicly crucify each other if we were that way inclined... thank God we're not. Ask yourself if, on the basis of one apologetic post (retreat, feign surrender) in reply to a mysteriously eloquent first-time poster (opponent attacks) you believe that he has switched life-long loyalty? Honestly, I'm disappointed any of you fell for it.
I still don't understand why he does it, it's not the way I was brought up, but he has skills and in the case of some of the contributers to this thread he is always one step ahead of you... even when he's retreating.
Kudos, Mackel, kudos.
