bubba, I especially like the repetitive character of your fassade. gives it a very homogeneous look.

looking forward to see your next image with the building placed in it's context... πŸ˜•

Here is another... no textures just yet! Only color... any input would be helpful! It's a little noisy since this isn't the final version...

Oh... how do I make the image fit the forum?

              Hi
i'm not really experienced in rendering stuff, so i apologize for my noob questions... 😳
Which rendering program have you used? I think i should use it too cause i haven't changed my laptop yet and i think it would explode trying some indigo like renderings πŸ˜„
              Thanks

Looking good, but I'm surprised you didn't incorporate a Batman component.

Haha, I might have to do a separate rendering for fun with a Gotham City feel to it... might see if I can find or model the bat cycle or the tumbler!

Haha... I see what you're saying! I'm going to be doing the building right next to it tomorrow which should help. Maybe then it won't look like it is falling over...

                              Indeed night renders are tough..!!

To improve these, You could change some of the outdoor spot-lights to IES-lights, which I'm sure will add some more realism to the renders... πŸ˜‰
Please let me know if you need help/advice with this... πŸ˜‰

All right Frederik... I do need some help! Do you convert mesh to IES lights or do you use the pointlight or spotlights for them! I have the material pack with the IES lights but I wasn't exactly sure how to use them! I'm sure you could lead me in the right direction... Thanks man!

The easiest way - perhaps - will be to follow the steps in the Converting spot to IES lights thread at the KT Forum...

The steps may sound a little tricky, but once you've converted a couple, I'm sure you'll agree that it's not that complicated... πŸ˜‰

only just found the TDK image. nice one - I think I like the overall mood of this image more πŸ˜‰

oh yes, IES lighting... tried it once with indigo. looks great. but was too lazy to investigate further.

but I am looking forward to see your new night-render with IES

Thanks guys... I will be doing this rendering for a board... so I will make an attempt to do these IES lights! I also have to do some interior shots so I would think that these would help a lot! Stay tuned...
