Spore Creature creation

Has anybody been playing around with this? (I know it's not officially released until tuesday but still...) It's very easy to make a variety of different creatures even with the free version (which has about 1/4 of the options of the full one)

Solo! how could you not have heard of spore/ its one of the most/more anticipated games this year.
The basic idea is that you build a creature and then try and advance it through the different stages of evolution, starting at the bacterial phase and working up to space exploration.
The creature creator is pretty ground breaking stuff as far as i can tell. It basically lets you model complex creatures with little to no previous 3d knowledge.

Kinda looks like that JUJU character from Star Wars, but the ear flaps are coming out of his rump instead of his head.
The demo I saw of Spore was for the iPhone - it was more of a 2D character.
Come on Pete - SNAP!! Get with the times man.

Does the model can be exported in another format than Spore?

I doubt it. Its part pf the game, so i think its unlikely they'll be giving away the meshes, even if you create them.
Theres always the possibility of someone hacking it though.

Very cool, my kids are now impatient to get their grubby paws on the full version.
Now to figure out how to get them into SU.....
