Rendered bathrooms

Please note that I had nothing to do with the design of these scenes only the renders, to show Katherine what a difference a render will do to an interior scene like the one she posted originally...
Speaking off... Perhaps some would be interested to know the origin of these..??
So here's a link to the original Bathroom thread...And here's some links to some larger images... (1214x835 res.)
Bathroom
Bathroom 2
Bathroom 3
Bathroom 3A (same scene as Bathroom 3, but different materials used)I can't remember where I got the wall paintings in the Bathroom 3 scene, but credit should go to that person...

Very nice.
Got some more info? Preset used, render time etc?

For all renders I used render preset 07. PhotonMap - High + AA
Render time was app. 1 hour 45 minutes per scene...
A subtle touch of bloom have been added in post pro... -

Nice Fredrick, How do you know which IES light to use? Most are very similar in look to me.
Is there some rational way to pick from the very many vs trial and error? I recall seeing a distibution chart and again there are so many that seem to be really close in value of how they look. -

Thanks...
Since this is not my models and design, it's Katherine's, I can't share the 'skippy'... Sorry...
I only did the renders to show to Katherine how different a render will look of an interior scene... You can check out Katherines original posting of the bathroom here...@lapx said:

I have used the KT IES Preview sheet, which you can download from here...I find that there's a significan difference between the IES lights in this sheet and depending on the scene I pick one I find will suit the scene the best...

First of all it's called IES...
The IES data format is an internationally accepted data format used for describing the light distribution of luminaires...
You can read more at ERCO Light Scout or try Google it...@shreesti said:

There are several render applications where you can use IES-lights...
The above renders are all rendered using Kerkythea...
Currently Podium can't handle IES-lights, but maybe in the future..?!@dudekracked said:

Indeed, nice renders.
Frederick has its own style and the softness of the images is appealing. The IES profiles for light fixtures surely adds to the realism.
Good job.

Thanks, Coen and Kwist...
