      Hello,
      Anyone knows how to retrieve a value from the status bar, on the bottom right, to a ruby script?
      Thanks!

        Yes, you have to implement the method "onUserText" on your tool:

        ex:

        # This is called when the user types a value into the VCB
        def onUserText(text, view)
            # The user may type in something that we can't parse as a length
            # so we set up some exception handling to trap that
            begin
                value = text.to_l # convert the value to a length
            rescue
                # Error parsing the text
                UI.beep
                value = nil
                Sketchup;;set_status_text "", SB_VCB_VALUE
            end
            ....
        end

          Great Macs!
          I'll test it as soon I'll go back to my codes.
          Thanks A lot.
