Gosh Pete,
I love it. It reminds me so much of the comic book series 'Buck Danny'.
Vue is really great in your hands it seems. I love the sky and light you produce with it.(reflections on the propellor head look great). You should think about working more for the gaming industry imo.
The speed you obtain in modeling and the accuracy in SU you get... -
nice work
why did not you add motion blur at vanes of propeller by anim.feature of vue?
Or there is more simple way to model this effect by creating of segment components...sorry...correct
-
Ilay7k, I am not sure exactly what you mean but I did a straight rendering and exported a depth map as well as both .jpg and .png which enabled me to use the layers in PSP to give further motion to props.
Chris, thanks for the kind words. I certainly do enjoy Vue more now than before.
As far as the gaming industry goes, I am still very actively involved as I have been for the last two years however I posted some images a few months ago on my site that almost jeopardized my clients trust, due to the fact that I had a confidentiality clause which I never took serious enough, so I will be more cautious in future postings. -
Ah!!
Yes it does, I used an animated frame a day or so ago on my daytime blimp render in order to achieve motion blur, I never thought about using it on the props actually, thanks for the heads up.

Pete, as i remember(at my previous occupation) that vue inf/xtreem has dynamic(animation) features for twirling(rotating) of objects...if use static render, you can to add effect to object(merge several frames =~1-5, like excluding object data)...

Looks great, pete. Wish I had more time to play around with Vue (and podium, and....)
-
Looks good. Your electricity bill must really high.

Great as always Solo, keep it up. Is it worthwhile to try using the free version of Vue?
