Lookin' good Bubba... what about randomly rotating the vegetation so they don't like so "cookie cutter"? I think that would be a big improvment. I like the style you use. It softens things up a bit

I like the style of your work but I agree about the plants, what I do is I scale them individually so they will look different from one another...

re: all the comments about plant variation, all of you might want to check out a ruby called matrix-proximity. Make sure you read the help though, its complex but if you tame it, its great

Cool, I will look in to getting that ruby. I kind of got lazy on those plants so we could submit the rendering on time. I was only given a couple of hours to do this sooo... but thanks for all your replies and I will post an updated version real soon!

Ok, I did a little update. I scratched that whole view I had originally gone with and decided to go with less vegetation and more building! I've never been that good with the landscaping part of rendering so I just went the normal Sketchup route when it comes to all the plants. I think it came out all right! Let me know what you think?!

I like the original one best, the last one looks like a Christmas theme with the Holly bottom framing.

Haha, I see where you are coming from... I will keep tweaking and see what I can come up with. I'm going to the beach in a little while. WooHOO! My white ass needs some sun if you can't tell from my picture!

Looking good. I'd go with the bottom image, there's less asphalt.

Yea... the client wanted a straight on view without it being a 2d elevation. Maybe I still need to play around with camera angles and field of view to get something a little better. Thanks Daniel!
