Using a Controller with SketchyPhysics 2.0 Beta 1
-
How do I "hook up" a wireless Xbox 360 controller with SketchyPhysics?
Please help! Thanks! -
if you are sure that the controller is working (I'm assuming you've used it for games) you need to name the controller that you want to control depending on what you want to use to control it, the correct syntax is joyLX this would make the X axis of the left analogue stick control that joint.

I have no idea what you're talking about.
I don't know how to connect my controller to my computer so that I
can use it with SketchyPhysics. -

Please help! Thanks! You need to buy a wireless adapter for your PC. It plugs into your USB port. I think you can get them where you get xbox accesories. I use the wired 360 controller. That just plugs into the USB port directly.

I tried, but I can't use the left stick...
How do you do to use it ? -
To make the controller work with sketchyphysics, just make your model, open the UI and select a joint you want to control. Then, in the 'controller' box, enter 'joyLX' or 'joyLY' for the left stick, or 'joyRY' for the triggers. For now the right stick on 360 controllers isn't compatible.
