Call to our ruby masters: enhanced smoove tool

Hi friends,
All the new organic plugins that are/will be released enhance the SU experience a lot.
Still there is still one thing that I miss to be able to model everything...= an improved 'Smoove' tool. One that works in all 'normal' directions and with more selection options than just that current circle ( for instance a square, a line, custom shape etc...).
Would that be diffcult to code in Ruby?...someone willing to give it a try?
What do you guys think?...

Most of the code is trivial, only soft selection would have to be coded from start since the smoove is closed-source. But I cant devote any time to this at the moment. We should spread the coders' group by not delivering on-demand. Once u start, the simplicity of ruby Api is addictive.
