Je voterais Pour La France. Mais, Malheureusment. . .Je suis Trop Pauvre de voyager en Europe de latat d'Utah a ce moment. (I'm too broke) Le Dollar est trop Faible. .. ANd BESIDES> . .I didn't even get picked for the basecamp in the STATES!!!!

Well if I am going to take time to go to a seminar I would want to know that it is well worth the trip, cost and time wise.

Flame, i dont think you would have to worry aobut that. I imagine there are quite a few people on here who would be willing to do talks if they were approached aobut it, and i imagine it would probably work in that sort of way. I.e. a few people giving talks/presentations on different aspects of SU, a few work shops and plenty of socialising.
To sum it up, i think it would be wicked.

Well, let's put it this way: all the people who were asked by Google to make presentations at 3D BasCamp in the Tips & Tricks Panel in June are members of SCF now (and in fact members of the Beta Team as well).
Don't you believe that there is enough knowledge in this community?However yes, I would also like to see some of the SketchUp Team if an event like this happens. Partly because they are nice people but certainly also because their presence would be important.

Mike, combining skiing with gathering would be great. It could be also first time skiing for someone. OK If it is pulled of to be in Alps than I volunteer to run 1 day ski school for beginerrs.

Well, they are very loose. I can move them apart some 2cms - I can almost poke my finger in the joint!

There are some aids for the knees which help skiing. You need to excersize them man.

I do walk a lot. But it's been like this as far as I remember. It doesn't disturb me at all - just probably skiing wouldn't be the best cure for them.
But hey - I can stay in the pub until others break their necks!

Csaba, I also suffer from a knee injurie i got many years ago on a ski holiday in France, but if I'm going skiing, I use my DonJoy...
Might also be a solution for you... -

As I recently blew almost all my money on hardware and software, I really must insist the EU Base Camp takes place in either Antwerp or Ghent.
