Reasons....
-
That is so cool. I get the biggest kick out of this image. I see three reasons, wheel, no chain, and assuming this kid was tagging the wall, LOL.
I want to print this on nice glossy 24X36 and hang it up in my home office. I would love a higher res. I feel like I'm asking to much and should be dropping coin on this.
I love it!

Thanks .
Spence, I pm'ed you the big one.

Great render.. I wish I had this kind of creativity!
-
Thank you Tinanne,
You certainly don't lack creativity yourself looking at your images -
Adding a second view.
I used a 'displacement map'(= a bump map that actually changes the 3D geometry of the object when rendering) for the pavement and wall tiling: -
As a 'motivational poster':
If you guys want to use it to print as a poster for your students, feel free to download the big version here:

(clicking on the image at the link, enlarges the view)It would be great if some photos of the actual printed poster hanging in a school/office would be posted here.

Thanks Chris
My 13 x 19 priter ran out of color half way through printing (do not normally print color on it as it's used for printing out details, sections, plans and elevations for the trades)
However as soon as I get it printed I will take a snapshot of my boys bomb shelter / bedroom.
There is a market for these inspirational posters ....

Awesome renders, no question about it. Extremely well done, IMO.
-
Cool .
I would feel honoured if this would be actually used.
It makes it worth doing renders. -
I could not help but think of one of my favorite sites when I saw this...

I love this image Kwist, you have a true talent.
-
Ha Ha Ha... is this where you got your inspiration?
I just stumbled across this today.
-
nice render and idea! question: which render app did u use?
-
Thank you.
I used Fryrender for these images. -
Chris,
I put up an 8.5 x 11 version on the door of our Tech Center. We have a 1-to-1 laptop program and this is where all the students come when they have problems with their computers so a lot of kids are going to see it.

You do not kid about the problems with computers, the one on the lower left does not even have a case, just slapped the entrails onto a project board...damn kids!!
-
Haha, that made me crack up, this is truly artwork, this is something that would look good framed and hanged.

Pete,
Some days... yesterday for instance... a 7th grader came in with a broken screen... roughly $700 to repair. She dropped the computer while putting stuff in her locker. It is why we have insurance.
We have some more of these "exploded" digital device boards in the office. One has my younger son's first iPod, ruined by spilt milk, which we, of course, have labeled "It doesn't do any good to cry over spilt milk."

...
That's really funny.
Sounds like the right place to have a motivational poster. Thanks Fred.
-
Haha...This made me laugh. I should put this at the studio where I teach.

Chris,
Here you have it! I placed that baby in a 24X18 frame and hung it up. I just finished my basement months ago, and your rendering has come in real handy for having something to hang up. I still need to hang more goods up. Thanks again.
