      hi all

this was one of my first attempts rendering in kerkythea and really enjoyed producing this image. its a continental bar/ mezzanine restaurant which i have worked on. comments would be welcomed as i'm very new to rendering but really enjoy it.

      cheers

      chris

Excellent work! Your are making fantastic progress if this is one of your first renders. The only thing I would say is that IMHO I've never liked that bundled-with-SU wood floor- it doesn't look like any wood floor I've ever seen. Maybe try exporting the floor image from SU, adjust the colours, contrast and levels in Photoshop and reload the image back into the floor. Alternatively, load the attached wood floor texture I made into your floor material, adjust to a woody colour and it should be a little more realistic.

...and keep posting, this is great stuff!

thanks jackson, thats something i need to progress with, making materials look more realistic i tend to just export to kerkythea and some reflections and hit render.

          thanks

Yeah, becoming a material pedant comes with the territory when you do a lot of rendering πŸ˜’ . What looks ok in SU can stick out like a sore thumb in render progs.
