FF is in the middle of a large commission from Fox Racing, the sports apparel company. We (that's me, in this case) are modelling most of their current range of stock so that their design team can use SU to work on more dynamic shop and expo displays.
Fox didn't want any image maps used...just colours...so that they could rapidly change the colour styles of various items. They also need them very efficiently modelled, because of the repetition. So everything you see in the picture is modelled from scratch in SU...in geometry.
As can be seen, it involved a lot of "printing" onto the basic mesh. I tend not to use the sandbox tools for this, I just import a low-poly 2D dwg....usually done in Corel, extrude it, group it, shove it into the model at the correct angle, then intersect and tidy up.Statistics for this ensemble: approx 6MB and 55,000 faces including the bits that have been cropped.

Wow, that's a really cool collection, Alan! The clients must be really satisfied with the products!
