WIP - Church Interior
-
I am doing a church in Sanford, NC. I'm going to post a quick render I did and I was wondering if someone here could maybe help me. I'm having problems with the aqua carpet showing too much on the ceiling. I haven't changed any of the material values from sketchup, I figured someone here may have seen this before or knows of a quick fix. Oh, I am using kerkythea. Thanks!

are u referring to the big bright round spots over ur chandeliers??
did u use point lights to render this?
i think it would be best if u could put rectangular emitters in the bulb holders...
using point lights
using rectngular emitters -
Well yea, that too... but my main concern is the carpet is showing up way too much on the ceiling.

oh ok..
i am not quite sure bout that... maybe if u could try rendering with a higher preset it might go away...
usually this happens when the material is incorrect.. but u say that u havent done any modification to the materials in KT rite? -
Hi Bubba,
Is your floor material following the correct physical laws? I mean, when you add up the numbers for ambient and diffuse, etc. they do not equal more than "1.0", correct?If you would like, as I've done many times, I can d/l and try to see if I can spot the prob.
I will pm you my email info if you like -
Fletch, I don't mind sending you the model or the xml file. I didn't change any of the carpet settings when I rendered this one. I thought if I didn't change it, it would just be flat and not do what it continues to do. Let me know how you want me to send it to you. Thanks a lot!
Here is another I let render last night Fletch.
