USS Fletcher (DD/DDE-445), named for Admiral Frank F. Fletcher, was the lead ship of the Fletcher class destroyers, and served in the Pacific during World War II. She received fifteen battle stars for World War II service, and five for Korean War service.

About 90 pictures, Plastic model pictures, real WW2 fotos,section cuts and 10 hours of searching on net, hardest was with blueprints but finaly i found them. -
My boys and I have slept on the USS Kidd which is a restored Fletcher class Destroyer permanently moored in Baton Rouge, La. It received a Kamikazee hit at Okinawa. I am currently building a plastic model of a Fletcher class. Are you willing to make your SU model available?
