as good as ever, although im not a particular fan of the watercolour version. i think its the chairs, they just dont seem very convincing, i think its the sketchy edges 😒

        Thanks Remus.

You are right...I am not fond of water color renderings in general, but I thought I would try it anyway. I had a discussion about it on the Podium forum where I posted the images, and the conclusion was that it's a personal taste thing.

See again I do like it however the jaggy lines on the chairs bother me, can you do it without those jitter lines?

great work, as usual. much kudos for it. and the wassilys, my favorite seating object, are incredible.

Kwistenbiebel, Are you sure you did this from Sketchup? It must have been an extremely highly polygonal count! those cushions and cloth seem to be extremely difficult to model let alone texture without ill-placed mapping. i'm truly blown away

                Thanks for the comments,

@spadestick : All is sketchup, besides the cloth, cushions and the spoon.
The chairs were Sketchup, but not modeled by me.

Those images are amazing! Could you post your "Before"-pics, as they were originally in sketchup? I would like to see the difference.

How did you put the clothes and cushions in?

Really great renders! I agree with Pete... I like the watercolors, but different line work around the chairs

and definitely, there are no kids living in that house! 😄

                              These are just so good!

Do most of the materials you add in Podium to render these images come as part of the material library, or are they available via the Podium forums?

                                Thanks Dylan,
Most of the time I browse the web in search for decent textures and often I adapt them in photoshop to get them just the way I like.
Texturing is one of the key elements for rendering imho.

indeed, texturing is very imporatant, unfortunately im rubbish at it. must try harder.

back on topic: howd you do the coffee spill? ive been thinking aobut it for a while but cant think of a good way to make it look fluid.
