External render
-
hi guys
this is one of my first external renders in kerkythea and photoshop. quite happy but has anyone any ideas of how i could improve the image. i cant seem to insert globals from the drop down menu as no box appears when i scroll over it.also how do i add photorealistic people to the image and where can i get these from. your ideas/comments would be much appreciated
thanks
chris

I would say: glass reflections and some bumps. On postprocessing you need a bit more contrast as image is little flat.
edit: also it looks unnatural to have light and light sconces under the canopy on a such bright day -

what do you mean by bumps + do i add more reflection just upping the reflection number in the materials editor.

yes but you need to reflect something so I would say maybe an image behind the camera or bake reflections in glass. Bumps=bump mapping. That would give more depth to your cladding. I use Kerky not that often so hopefully somebody will chime in with more detailed instructions on how to.

to make glass in KT... rename ur glass material in SU as TG_xxxx.. (where xxxxxx can be anything)
when exported KT will automatically apply the thin glass shader to the above mentioned material.. adjust the transparency if needed in KT...
