To be honest, I fell in love with that Lamborghini concept the first time I saw it. There's something so epic about those tail lights that I can't describe them using words, so:
-
That lambo is really well done, Ely. Nice work!
-
Hehe,Shams buddy ,thanks a bunch.
Well people seems to like it as well -almost 1000 downloads (can't wait to publish another one ) .
Thanks Goldenfrog !And some more work on the 350Z.
Till soon!
-
Niiiiice. Really nice 350Z. Always liked Nissan. Keep an eye on my models thread, found in the Gallery. I'm making a car as well.
-
Done!
-
Very consistent work Ely! Cheers!
-
Thx Stefan!
Some renders!
-
I'm really speechless. What renderer do you use?
-
It s hypershot..
Some tuning on the 350Z
-
Can you have same result with Simlab Composer?
(it has same render engine family inside but not the same price and no size limite image + 3D PDF export) -
I have a hard time finding any info on Simlab using the same render engine as hypershot. Hypershot is a dead product anyways. It is being replaced by "Shot" which is using a different render engine than hypershot.

I had no idea. Wierd, because I downloaded the trial version of hypershot rather recently.
Say, could 'ya check this out? http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=d33cda09d7df70dc25ff9d2d1e4772c3
Remember, it's a WIP. Thanks.
Ely: That widebody kit makes it look really great, but I think you should add some door handles...

Hello,
Here is a Car rendered using SimLab Composer 2.0
I thought SketchUp community will like buildings more.
But who doesn't like CARS ? -
Well, I don't have a car (and I could not even turn into our narrow street with such a car either)
But the render definitely looks cool! I only tried it on architectural models. After I collect and "organise" my "experiences", I would like to ask some questions, too.
-
Eli,
Those renders are fantastic! Good job
Are the backgrounds all HDRs?
-
Thanks Eli, how do you get the ground that the car sits on to match/blend so well with the backplate? Is that setup in Sketchup or in Hypershot?
-
when i say backplate means all the image u see is one picture..just the model and the shadow is virtual(and i am rotating and positioning the car to look like it s from there--at least i try ); the hdri makes the shadow and the reflections on the car
-
For preview what you can do, is to change the render settings
Select a small width and height for the output image; click render to preview and to know the location of the car. I agree that this is a workaround.Next version should allow you to see the HDR and the back plate without the need to make a quick render.
Regarding the car you are right, I just asked the person who created it, I was under the impression it was a sketchup model but it is not.
So here is a sketchup car rendered using SimLab Composer
-
Thanks for the explanation, Eli

Some more shots with hypershot
