An updated render using Artlantis Studio. Comments are welcome. I can not knock Artlantis for it's speed. This render was done in 30 minutes rendered at 6500 pixels wide (a feat I would not have the time for vray to finish even with a 6 pc render farm). I then took the image into CS3 and used virtual photographers softening filter. Thats all the post process work. This is for a paying client so any input as to which one you like would be helpful.
Best regards,

Scott, personally I like the top one the best. It is lighter and shows the product better. The last one has some reflection from the desk surface on to the panels that is somewhat distracting.
My $.02 FWIW. -
Eric,
Thanks. I like the reflections on the top ones better but I struggle with the speed to quality trade off. Vray is rendering those in the matter of hours and Artlantis in the mater of minutes. For the small differences in quality I can not justify waiting for Vray.
Coen,
Thanks. I too like the bloom effect as it would be true to life. The worksurface would bloom onto the panels as it shows here. My only issue thus far with Artlantis is that when rendering at higher resolutions some of the materials do not look the same as at lower resolutions. An odd little bug. I wish I had more time to work on it but the project is due by friday. With that in mind I need to make a decision as to use Artlantis or Vray. Right now I am rendering on my render farm with Vray and rendering with Artlantis Studio on my M90. I will post the results if they differ from the previously attached renders. I am hoping Artlanis 2.0 will be better but from what I have heard and seen it is still VERY buggy but shows good promise. Nothing I will dump the money on until I know it is stable.
Best regards,
ScottI am still open to comments and ideas

Maybe I am not right person to comment since I don't have so much experience but I love this renderings with little touch of diffuse glow.Everything fits in this rendering ,design, colors and I especially like panels and design of tables.
Maybe you could teach me some secrets >Scott because I love your rendering shots -
Prodigiua,
Thanks for your kind words> Rendering is not all that difficult once you understand the basics of whatever program you choose. I currently use Vray but just recently purchased Podium as well. Vray does an amazing job of rendering and is not nearly as hard as some will make it out to be. My biggest advice is great texturing and taking you time with lighting will make a huge difference but will never correct or make a bad model look good. Start with a great model and then rendering is that much easier in the end. You already have those skills so rendering should be easy.
