SB: Thermalright HR-05 Fanless Chipset Cooler w/ Evercool 70x15mm Aluminum FansWith this setup I was able to do the "Crowd Test" all the way to Scene 10 pretty smooth and zooming in and rotating still left everyone in color and happy, as I clicked on Scene 11 I was ready for the worst but then rotated then zoomed in and rotated again with a slight delay and didn't see any wire frames I said to myself...COOOOL!!! On my older rig I was seeing wire frame at Scene 7 or 8, so I'm happy so far. I also have "Use hardware acceleration" ON. Running the GPU on Catalyst 7.12 and to reduce the jaggy eadges (which I posted on Asher77 thread) in CCC (Catalyst Control Center)I have these settings...
Standard Settings: "Use custom settings" box is Checked
Anti-Aliasing: "Level" set to 4X, "Filter" select Box
Anisotropic Filtering: "Pre-pixel sample" set to 8X
Catalyst A.I.: On the slider set to Advance
Mipmap Detail Level: On the slider set to QualityIf you have an ATI card try these setting the outcome atleast for me is very smooth lines throughout the model.
Comments very welcome.

Danny, cool! Santa's a good ol'boy, huh!?! How do you stack up to the "turn on shadows" test? (My numbers with an nvidia FX1700 are here: http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/viewtopic.php?f=72&t=3883&p=23398#p23398 )

Hi Tom,
Well that does put the brakes on now....huh!!!!
SU6
Scene 6 - 2.5 sec.
Scene 7 - 3.5 sec.
Scene 8 - 5 sec. (your 1.5 sec. faster at 3.5 sec.)
Scene 9 - 9 sec. (your 0.5 sec. faster at 8.5 sec.)
Scene 10 - 16 sec. (even)
Scene 11 - 18 sec. (I'm 13 sec. faster)No wireframe throughout the scenes. Your running a Quadro gpu, right Tom? I actually had gaming in mind when I was building this rig and you should see this rig play games...BioShock, Call of Duty 4, Unreal Toutnament III and Crysis. All on max settings except for Crysis it only let me go to High setting till I add the 1.1 patch then I'll try Very High. Details are awesome, with the light turned off and my 5.1 sound cranled up it totally draws you in the game.
I guess I should be happy with the overall performance, SU runs a lot smoother and with the CCC setting I have above all lines a straight no jaggy lines. I think the best thing is my temps are in check because of the watercooling setup.

a pretty sweet machine by all accounts! why dont you try running crysis and SU at the same time to really push the graphics card
-
Danny...cool again! I'm quite happy with the quadro, but after seeing the settings choices and realizing SU isn't really heading this way, I may have opted for the for the GeForce (though your ATI seems to be a screamer too!).
