My own thoughts exactly fred, although the smoove tool is slightly more limited than i previously imagined which is slowing things down a bit.

Heres a bit more context, and a bit of extra bridge to boot.
I havent quite worked out how im going to get the road markins/railins on the curvy ramps yet, but im sure itll all make sense when i get there

very cool design. The base of the bridge reminds me of a fold out knife for some reason. Very nice design. It will look great rendered I am sure.
