Here are some of the renders and 3D prints of some models I have been working on.
The BMW boxer motor, the helical spiral cut shell door knob, the open lattices, and the nesting squares were all modeled in Sketchup.
I thought someone would like to see this stuff, even though I used Cheetah for a lot of the modeling.

Maybe you take a look to TopMod for crazzy model
(and of course save as 3D obj---> 3Ds for input in SU for refine) -
I actually downloaded topmod a couple of weeks ago, but I haven't had a chance to check it out yet.
Maybe I'll fire it up today and see what I can manage.
