      im looking for a piece of software that can convert a series of .png images to a video. freeware if possible.

        One of the best (IMHO) is VirtualDub... 😉
        The GUI isn't very impressive, but it's very powerful once you adapt how it works... 😄

            I am glad to see you are getting into the animation thing.
            If you are one XP or Vista, the built in 'windows movie maker' works like a charm.

              Obviusly didnt try hard enough with windows movie maker then, i just made a bit of a mess really. I'll have to have a play around with both of them. Thanks guys.
