Thanks all, Frederik I places the trees in SU first but that kept crashing on export so I used instancing in Maxwell. Each tree is about 2mb and I used about 150 trees with no problems. Rendering times for 1024x768 is about 1 hour.

SU is very poor when it comes to handle high poly models (like good 3D trees), so I assumed that it was instanced models/components...
