Idea: Programmable Movements

I just had a thought about being able to programatically control joints using some scripting language in SP. Clearly it's all done programatically right now, but it's not terribly easy for someone to create a series of movement commands and execute them.

Agreed. I have been thinking about it a lot lately. Its something I would really like to do. And it might be possible. But only if I rewrite about 60% of the current code.
I am still trying to find an easier way to make it work.

Yeah, I was thinking almost the same thing just for more joystick control. Making it so that you can rename the controller as "joyLX.reverse" or "joyThrottle*2" shouldn't be too hard, would it?.
