I wrote Vue off last year as it never worked within my flow, however I have decided to give it another go, I have seen some great interior renders here and on e-on's pages, so I will give a few goes at natural lighting and lit interior scenes.

The first below, has a standard off the shelf poser character 'James', Vue exterior and all modelled and textured Sketchup building and props.

Looks like you used the standard lighting model. Try using the radiosity setting for a more convincing lighting of the interior.
Drawback is that the render time will increase dramatically

doubt : is GI in play here?? or is it standard scanline render?

I tried using GI but render times were rediculous, I used standard sun settings. The next render (in oven at moment) should be more spectacular as it's a night scene with a few different types of interior lighting methods.

I have had Vue for over a year but in total I have probably only used it 20 hours, so every render should be better than the one before...at least thats my intent.

I had fun with this one, the TV glow came out right, I fiddled with the other lights a bit...um..not too bad for an app that I thought could not handle interiors well.

Thanks James, those were your Bond days 😎

This is also done with Vue, it was modelled by SchreiberBike.

I am so jealous about your skills to pose and rig characters....you just seem to pull them out of your sleeve as if it's nothing .

The scene setup in the shot with the guy watching telly is really nice.
I wonder how it would look like if rendered with Vray or Podium.

                    Cheers,
                    Kwistenbiebel

                      Thanks guys...

I would like to try v-ray but my trial ended before I had a chance to try it...

I may try it with Modo, as I have installed the trial version.

                      Sunrise.

That's another great one again you did there 'Pixar guy' 😄

I hope you will make a little 'step by step' Poser tutorial one day.
Some time ago I tried Poser but had to give up as I could only get rubbish out of it.

                        Great work!

                        By the way,
If you really nag to JoeB of asgvis forum to get your license prolongued, you might get a another month of practicing time. I did the same and got it 😄
Asgvis (VrayforSU) considers it as good marketing to let people post as much as they can in their gallery. A policy I like 😄

Put a good word in for me.

With the amount of inspiring work you are pumping out with just a trial he should give it to you for marketing purposes.

Your work is attracting customers, heck even I am tempted to buy the friggin thing and hound you for setup hints.

An old model, from my 'bikini bottom' set. I wanted to see how Vue handled this.

                            http://img503.imageshack.us/img503/7421/krabnd8.jpg

The models are SU, however I used Vue's terrain.

Another one, done with lowest quality, will try render it with GI some time soon, when i have a ka-jillion hours to waste.

Everything except human figure modelled in SU, model is Poser, and rendered with Vue 5 inf.

Ah, that was the "no render needed" or what topic's building, right?
Really nice (although you must have done something to it finally).
To me (maybe just because the sun is now shining onto my screen) it is a bit dark so I could not get many details.

                                      Gai...
