anyboby know some good galleries or locations where i can view lots of details. Would be nice if some are interior orientated (i suppose there are 100s of archi ones out there already)

thanks but i was hoping for 3d details drawn in sketchup - just to view to see how easy to read and attractive others can them look.

Syburn, make sure you visit the 3D WareHouse and though there are a lot of imported models there, as well, there are many-many native SU models, too. Some really nice ones, too.
And don't forget to get the available component packs (if you haven't installed them yet):
