Webservices (soap/wsdl) and SketchUP ruby

Hi,
Has anyone managed to get webservices (soap/wsdl) working in SketchUP ?
I would like to use the excellent Soap4r library and connect to
a webservice, but I keep running into problems.I have tried downloading an old Ruby version (1.8.0, I think this is
the same one that built-in Ruby interpreter in SketchUP uses) and pointing
to the libraries there. I have also tried to use and old version of
Soap4r (1.5.0).No success so far..
Any suggestions or workarounds would be welcome. -
For quick and easy testing, you can dump all the needed libraries into /Plugins. Make a backup of /Plugins first, so putting it back to original status is a no brainer.
