..found this model and felt it had to be used somehow Wink and then got inspired by some really cool images in the maxwell forum...

here is my first pass... missing a front wheel and driver.. also think it needs to be facing the camera a bit more? and a bit of blur to the wheels.. this is a WIP... any help is appreciated!

        He he, nice idea!.
How exactly do you get that shadow on to a HDRI?
Is it by using some 'shadow channel' while hiding the ground face?
Does such a channel render seperately from Maxwell?

        sorry for the curiousity..

        regards,
        Kwistenbiebel

yeah..maxwell 1.5 now has a 'shadow channel' option.. so there was a plane on the ground with a specific material that only renders shadows.... so the original render + alpha render + shadow render..and paste over the photo in PS.. i do need an HDRI light source though for the chrome..

              Hi Marked,

Light on the toilet is way richer then the first one. Perfect.
Did you introduce the physical sky +sun to get it come out like this?
I was expecting a guy 'sitting' on the vehicle though.
Right now, certainly compared to the rest of the image, the 'driver' is scaled wrong.

i did use the physical sun/sky the first time...but this time i used hdri's of the background for reflection/refraction..think that helped alot!

as far as the driver, it is actually correct...going by how the model was originally built...

                sorry for the funky colors...

but i do like your idea..have it actually be the size of a toilet and have somone sitting on it? little steering wheel?

Oh I see....the guy actually has a seat in the bowl.
Ok, you should keep that ! πŸ˜„
You just have to scale up both the toilet as the man inside.
Right now the toiet is scaled like a 'real' toilet, while it is intended to be bigger. It should at least be double size of current dimensions I think.

i dunno..in my model, the guy fits on the seat pretty well...you're saying the toilets too small for the guy?

here is a level change, which helps alot... going to make up a larger version..my background image was small to start with, unfortunately..

Am I the only one who sees that scaling is off ?

                          Nope... I also see it...

But I assume that the scale of the pot mobile model is OK, but in this render it's the background image (HDRI??), which is out of scale... πŸ˜‰
